Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator in Caso Cerrado. She also hosts Ana Polo Rules. She was born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami at the age of 2 years old, accompanied with her parents. Ana Maria Polo, born in Habana Cuba, is a host for the renowned Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" that is the very first Spanish language show nominated to be awarded a Daytime Entertainment Emmy (r). In 2015, she placed at the top spot for Spanish at 4pm for key demos. Polo was born on the 11th, 1959 in Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Science. Then she earned an PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and was a lawyer for over 20 years within Miami. From there she earned the PhD in law at University of Miami. University of Miami and practiced law for more than 20 years in Miami. Polo appeared for the first time on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal skills were also used for other court-related programs. Literature Accolades and Literary Work In the year 1958, she wrote her first book Los Hijos Muertos. It won both the Critic's Prize for Literature as well the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in the year 1960. Polo, who is also a breast cancer patient and survivor of the disease, is often quoted about the cause she is fighting. She has been a strong advocate of LGBT rights for the majority of her professional career. She received her law degree in 1987 at the University of Miami School of Law.
